Convicted of Prior Assault of a Family Member - Harris County

In late June 2000, reginald jarrels, in a drug induced state, beat his wife, wrapped her inside a comforter, duct taped her inside of it, tied her up with the vacuum cleaner cord & threatened to kill himself, their three children & his wife. He served seven months of a one-year sentence and was released February 24, 2001.

On February 25, 2001, he assaulted his wife again. He beat her severely and she suffers from a seizure disorder now. He told her at that point they were all going to die. He was sentenced to five years for this latest assault. This was reginald jarrels' 4th felony & his 10th conviction!

Even behind bars he has continued to haunt his wife through his friends and family. She has been repeatedly harassed and forced to move and change her phone number several times. She has now filed for a divorce.

His wife has been in therapy since this happened and her children, ages 2, 3, & 4 have been in therapy. Her four year old has suffered the most with bouts of screaming, night terrors, clawing her skin and gagging herself. This has taken a toll on the whole family.

This woman has no doubt at all that reginald jarrels will try again to take her life and the lives of her children when he is released. Please help to protest his parole and have him declared a "serve all", and do not let him out of prison until he has served his entire sentence.
